PaperTrail Press is a greeting card manufacturer with humorous cards guaranteed to make you laugh out loud.

Located in San Rafael, California, PaperTrail introduced its Fashion Fanatics card line at the May 1998 National Stationery Show in New York. Since that time, the line has grown from 36 to over 200 everyday cards, including birthday, friendship, anniversary, mother to be, baby, get well, thank you and wedding.

PaperTrail’s success results from the combination of fresh, eye-catching graphics and clever, funny, upbeat greetings. Customers recognize the expanding cast of colorful characters that spark the humor on PaperTrail’s cards. They are their friends, their kids, and most likely, themselves.

With the success of PaperTrail’s “Birthday for Guys” cards, it was clear that guys could laugh at themselves too. They deserved more attention and a line all their own. Thus, Contemporary Caveman was born. Planted firmly in the 21st century but flaunting the foibles of his Stone Age heritage, Contemporary Caveman and his friends relish life with enthusiasm and humor.
